Eligible participants are exclusively children born between 2018 and 2022.

Registration takes place online via the website www.dresden-marathon.com. By registering, a legal guardian of each participant confirms that they have read and accepted the General Terms and Conditions for events organized by Dresdner Laufevents und Touristik GmbH.

In the case of group registrations or third-party registrations, the person registering confirms that all registered participants have read and accepted the General Terms and Conditions.

Each participant will receive their own bib number (A5 format). The bib number is non-transferable and must be worn clearly visible and unaltered on the front of the running shirt. It must not be folded or covered.

The BAMBINI RUN is limited to 200 participants.

Registration deadline is October 13, 2025, at 11:59 PM.

to October 23, 2025, 11:59 PM

On-site late registration will be available:
on October 24, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM
and on October 25, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 1:30 PM

If it turns out that a child cannot participate, we kindly ask parents or guardians to unregister the child. A brief email to info@baer-service.de is sufficient.

The BAMBINI RUN is designed for our runners of tomorrow and is completely free of charge. However, registration is mandatory.

No registration = no participation.

All participants who register by October 23, 2025, 11:59 PM will receive a registration confirmation via email shortly before the event.
This confirmation must be presented (digitally or printed, if necessary) when collecting the bib number.
Pick-up by another person is possible with an authorization letter and the official confirmation.

Participation is at your own risk. By registering and collecting the bib number, all parents/guardians confirm that there are no health concerns regarding their child’s participation, that the child is in good physical condition, and capable of taking part in the event. The organizer accepts no liability for any health risks.

The organizer accepts no liability for lost clothing or other items. Lost and found items will be kept at the Info Stand during the event and afterwards at the office of Dresdner Laufevents und Touristik GmbH, HEINZ-STEYER-STADION, Magdeburger Straße 2, 01067 Dresden (for 14 days).

One lap (400 m) around the track at Heinz-Steyer-Stadium.
Start takes place under the official DRESDEN-MARATHON finish arch.

The race area is located near the “Dresden-Hauptbahnhof”-mainstation (approx. 2 km) and “Dresden-Neustadt”-station (approx. 1 km). Dresden International Airport is about 8 km away. For local public transport schedules, please visit: www.dvb.de.

By car or bus, the marathon start can be reached via the A4 motorway, exit Dresden-Altstadt (78), then continue approx. 3 km on the B6 in the direction of the city centre/exhibition grounds. Follow the signs for “MARATHON” and “MESSE/P7”.

Please note: On marathon day, detours and road closures may apply when coming from other directions.

The start/finish area is located near Pieschener Allee/HEINZ-STEYER STADIUM, approximately 800 metres from Dresden city centre (Zwinger Palace, Semper Opera House).

Race packet pick-up, registration office, and the marathon expo are located at:

The start/finish area is easily accessible by public transport. Your bib number is valid as a ticket for all local public transport (excluding special services) in the Dresden fare zone on October 26, 2025.

From the Postplatz tram hub and the S-Bahn station Dresden-Mitte, it’s about a 10-minute walk. Tram lines 6 and 11 will take you to the “Kongresszentrum” stop.

Please check for public transport detours on race day.

There is NO official timing at the BAMBINI RUN.
Parents may time their child themselves and have that time engraved on the medal, if desired.

There is NO facility for storing clothing bags at the BAMBINI RUN.

From 2:10 PM at the finish gate in the HEINZ-STEYER-STADIUM. Access to the inner area is via the South Stand.

The race starts at 2:30 PM.

At the finish area, medals can be engraved individually.
A special children’s price of €5 incl. VAT applies.

Advance booking is not required or possible.

All children will receive a special kids’ medal at the finish.

There will be NO award ceremony –
at the BAMBINI RUN, everyone is number 1!

Participation certificates are available online to download and print.
