A fast 10K through "Elbflorenz"– whether you're aiming for a new personal best or running 10 km in one go for the first time, this race is for YOU! Sign up for then AOK 10KM RUN!
Starting on Ostra-Allee, the route takes you straight into Dresden’s historic Old Town, past the Zwinger Palace, Dresden Royal Palace, Semper Opera House and Dresden Cathedral. You will then cross the Elbe via Augustus Bridge and enter the Inner Neustadt, passing the Golden Rider and the Japanese Palace before descending to the Elbe Cycle Path.
Surrounded by the beautiful scenery of Dresden’s Elbe meadows, you will make your way towards Waldschlösschen Bridge and cross the river once again. The route then follows the left bank of the Elbe back towards the Old Town, taking you directly beneath Brühl’s Terrace and past the Semper Opera House.
Finally, you will enter Heinz Steyer Stadium through the Marathon Gate. Cheered on by numerous spectators, you will complete half a lap of the track before crossing the grand finish line of the DRESDEN-MARATHON.
