A fast 10K through "Elbflorenz"– whether you're aiming for a new personal best or running 10 km in one go for the first time, this race is for YOU! Sign up for then AOK 10KM RUN!
The start lineup is on Pieschener Allee. After directly crossing the Elbe River, you will explore the Inner Neustadt, passing the “Japanese Palace” and the Golden Rider, running down the “Blockhaus Ramp” onto the Elbe Cycle Path. On the way to the Waldschlößchen Bridge, you will experience the wonderful nature of Dresden’s Elbe meadows. After another crossing of the Elbe, the route continues along the cycle path on the left bank. You will run along the water back into the Old Town, directly beneath the Brühl’s Terrace, past the Semper Opera House, and through the Marathon Gate of the Heinz-Steyer Stadium. With the applause of numerous spectators and half a lap on the oval track, you will cross the grand finish line of the 25th DRESDEN-MARATHON.
With the cheers of enthusiastic spectators and a final half-lap on the stadium track, you’ll cross the grand finish line of the 25th DRESDEN MARATHON!
