The 25th DRESDEN-MARATHON has just started – thousands of runners are on their way through the city!
And while the first kilometers are already being run, the next chapter begins online: registration for the 26th DRESDEN-MARATHON is now open!

On October 24 and 25, 2026, our traditional running event through autumnal Dresden continues – promising once again sporting highlights, emotional moments, and an unforgettable sense of community right in the heart of one of Germany’s most beautiful running courses.

You can once again look forward to our popular races:

• AOK 10 km Run – the fast and atmospheric course along the River Elbe

• Piepenbrock Half Marathon – through Neustadt, the Großer Garten and the old town

• Marathon – the classic distance for everyone seeking the full Dresden experience of city and nature

• Marathon Relay – four sections, one common goal, and plenty of team spirit

Registration for these distances is now open.
Registration for the SPARKASSEN 5 km Run as well as the Children’s Races (Kids’ Marathon and Bambini Run) will open in early 2026.

Whether you’re chasing a new personal best, celebrating your debut, or simply joining this special weekend once again – we can’t wait to see you!
Because after the marathon is before the marathon – and the anticipation for the next great running adventure in Dresden begins now.
